first Career Guidance workshop was conducted on Friday, September 22,
2006.
- The
"Attitude for Success" was the main attraction by
Prof C.F.Joseph (Born to Excel). Like an iceberg 10% of our
qualities are visible to the outside world by our behaviour and the
invisible 90% relate to the attitude - if the numerical place values
of the alphabet are added skills=82, knowledge=96, Hard work=98
& attitude=100)
- Second
presentation by Aboobaker C.M. (1987M) on the job scenario in UAE
and the right way to analyze a probable opportunity was highly
informative for all present.
Presentation by
Pradeep Kumar (1985 M) was rich in tips for all job hunters &
job seekers particularly about facing interviews. An
important point noted was "more than 80% of placements in UAE are
through contacts/personal references" hence try to be more
socially active, it is your future
