- Obituary...
Few old students in the
UAE decided to make an alumni for NSS College Of Engineering, Palakkad
in 1994. The first get-together held in an apartment with like minded
people. Every one was interested but nobody was ready to put an
effort.
But some of them not
stopped there..after a year again tried to contact all the alumni and
we got encouraging response from all corners, especially from the very
seniors. That was the birth of NSSCE Alumni - UAE Chapter in 1996.
Cricket...
The
get-togethers and various other activities arranged by the unit at
regular intervals keep the members active. First time, we had
participated in the Cricket match (2002) organized by AKCAF and it was
a big success and everyone is looking for better in the coming years.
Though we lost the match, everyone appreciated our sportsman spirit
and achievements.
It
was just a beginning and now we have a strong team who plays every
year in AKCAF and KERA tournament.
After
cricket we have experimented Football in the inter college Alumni. The
result of hard work is....NSSCE is the WINNER of KERA Football for the
year 2009!
Congratulation
to all!
